The Sarannid Sultanate, a newly settled Kingdom from the far Southern deserts past Calradia.
The Sarannid Sultanate is ruled by Sultana Hakim and occupies the South of Calradia, in the hot, sunny deserts. It borders the Kingdom of Rhodoks and the Khergit Khanate, leading to a two front war.
The Sarannid Sultanate fields very strong Heavy Cavalry of their own, comparable to Swadian Heavy Cavalry in the form of Sarannid Mamlukes.
The Sarannid deserts are home to many tribes of Centaurs, whom the Sarannids often trade with, and buy horse stocks from. The Sarannids therefore have a good relationship with the Centaurs, and the Centaurs in return form small bands and hunt bandits in Sarannid lands, thereby keeping them safe.
Sarannid mages are taught magic that allows them to call upon the wind, and magic that allows them to bolster their Cavalry.
Heavily armored invaders will find themselves fatigued very quickly when invading the Sultanate due to the extreme heat and finished off in short turn by Sarannid Heavy Cavalry.
Sarannid culture is Middle Eastern Mamluke culture.
