Roleplay Rules

RULES

• No bullying, discrimination, harassment, threatening, flaming or general bad conduct.
• No posting of explicit pictures, videos or media.
• Follow RPHaven's rules. The roleplay takes place on their site and it is their rules that primarily need to be followed.
• Anything which is illegal in the US and Canada is not allowed.
• No child pornorgraphy, child ERP, or anything sexual related to children whatsoever. Not even fading to black.
• No excessive spam.
• No impersonation of somebody else or their character.
• No breaking of the Roleplay Rules stated further below.
• Respect everyone and understand that people roleplay together and not against each other.
• Enjoy your time.

ROLEPLAY RULES

• No God-moding (refusing to take hits, auto-hitting, deciding the actions of other players), Power-gaming (playing simply to wield power over others and consolidate it) or Meta-gaming (having in-character knowledge that your character isn't supposed to know).
• You must comply and fight according to the combat system.
• You must behave, act and fight according to your character and his/her biography. You aren't playing yourself, you're playing your character.
• Do not spam or engage in excessive OOC chatter
• The word of the Moderators is final. You can however speak to them via PM if you have any concerns.
• Do not bring OOC drama to in-character play.
• Respect the storylines and goals of others. You're not playing alone.
• No killing unless the other player has consented.
• No forced rape, maiming, mental scarring or anything of the permanent sort upon another player unless they consent.
• No auto-hiring of soldiers, troops or mercenaries out of your character. This also applies to armor and weaponry. Peasants won't have Greatswords or Full Plate as these are expensive. Any possession of armor, weaponry or troops must be justified through your character profile, or through roleplay in the room.

CHARACTER CREATION RULES

• Characters of all races, genders and orientations are allowed. The version of Calradia being used includes lower end medieval fantasy magic, fantasy races, creatures and the like. However many people are very racist, homophobic and unaccepting of many of these races, and especially of differing sexual orientations in Calradia.
• Characters and races that possess superhuman strength, durability, speed or magic must be cleared with the admins. Don't worry, we're pretty accepting.
• NO technology past late medieval gunpowder weaponry. No steampunk, sci-fi or other genre technology is allowed. This is a medieval fantasy room, we intend on preserving that.
• Advanced Dwarven technology, elven magical crafts and dark chaotic magic however is allowed, provided you've cleared it with an admin.
• Your characters must not be mentally disabled to the point of being incapable of communication.
• Gods and very overpowered characters are only allowed as event characters and only entrusted to trusted roleplayers.
• Feel free to bring in your characters from other rooms and roleplays provided they fit in with the rules mentioned above.
• You -can- bring in any character you like, however if they do not meet any of the rules above, your character will not be allowed to participate in combat or use their powers, abilities or technology.
• Your character cannot be related to another character through backstory without that players consent.
