The Kingdom of Swadia, the oldest existing Kingdom in Calradia and the only true remnant of the Old Calradian Empire in Calradia.
The Kingdom of Swadia is ruled by King Harlaus and lies in the heartland of Calradia. It's centered position which makes it border all of the other Kingdoms, makes it often fight on numerous fronts.
Swadia's rolling green plains do however offer it a very distinct advantage over any other Kingdom in Calradia. Swadians breed quality horses, horses which are sturdy, strong and fast, and excel at warfare. Swadians take advantage of their natural resource and put their horses to work by fielding the finest Heavy Cavalry in all of Calradia in the form of their Swadian Knights, a cavalry force no other Kingdom could hope to match toe to toe.
Swadian forests are home to the Taure Elves, who are very secluded in their lifestyle. The largest forest in Swadia, Bara Forest, is home to the largest population of Taure Elves.
Swadian mages are primarily taught holy magic and secondarily taught fire magic to defend their homeland. Swadian magic is primarily used to bolster the arms and armor of their fighting men and especially their Heavy Cavalry, and secondarily used to assault the enemy with fire.
Swadian armies field Heavy Infantry and Crossbowmen, but most primarily field Heavy Cavalry, which has often been the deciding factor in their battles.
Any enemies daring to attack Swadia on its homeland, will find themselves being run down under the sheer force of Heavy Cavalry, on rolling green plains well benefiting cavalry charges.
Swadian culture is a mirror of typical medieval culture, with rolling green plains and farmlands littering the Kingdom, and general wealth and prosperity following from it.
